S104/106
Section 104 applications are a formal request made by a developer to a water company to adopt a new sewer. It is the developers responsibility to construct a new sewer connecting their development to an existing public sewer. The developer will then need to apply to the relevant water company to adopt the sewer. In doing so, the water company will take over the maintenance and repair of that sewer.
